We came here for breakfast on our way home from our holiday. Fabulous food nicely presented my husband cannot eat eggs so was able to substitute them for extra tomatoes without any fuss. Home made baked beans were delicious and to have roasted tomatoes not warm up raw ones was a treat. Very filling breakfast and a decent cup of tea. It was quite busy but the staff were coping well and our food arrived quickly and hot.

June 2024 We had another lovely visits to the Parlour - excellent cake and coffee with friendly service. Sept 2023 We stopped by for a cup of tea and cake having visited the Priory and returned for breakfast during our stay. A lovely cafe located in an impressive 17th century barn in the grounds of the impressive Binham Priory. There is ample seating inside and out. The barn has been beautifully restored to provide a light and airy environment. Staff are wonderfully friendly and the food was delicious. They offer a great breakfast menu, Lunch menu and Afternoon tea with home-made cakes. The quality of the local produce used was fantastic. There is an area (the Little Dairy Shop) were you can purchase fresh raw milk from their own diary, jams, chutneys, teas and other local items. We got some jams which are delicious along with some Norfolk Tea. Definitely worth a visit - probably best to book for lunch. The cafe is dog friendly.

Stylish cafe housed in a converted 17th century barn, offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. My wife and I visited on my birthday for breakfast and we weren't disappointed! The food and service were all excellent and the converted barn setting is very characterful. We had a full English breakfast and a cappuccino each, an orange juice and a water; this all very reasonably came to 37. The old priory next door is also well worth a visit.

Love this place! We kept driving past it so went for brunch and couldn’t recommend more. A curated, and high quality menu. Speedy service, attentive and kind staff. Reasonable prices. Clean and warm in the stunning interior with underfloor heating. Cute shop next door for crackers, chutneys, cheese, and various dairy products. Even the loos were lovely, with a view of a cow to watch. Sizeable cubicles, wheelchair friendly and, again, very clean. Hand soap smells divine. Dog friendly too, with some free treats for them too. I live 4 hours away and I will definitely be back. Thanks all.

Between visiting the church and wandering around the Priory, we went to the Parlour for breakfast. We were greeted warmly and offered a table. The converted barn was decorated with Christmas ornaments and an impressive tree in the corner. We were brought menus and asked if we’d like any drinks, we chose a hot chocolate and a Latte. Then our food order was taken, a concise menu, but with a very good selection, we chose the Eggs Royale and the Huevos Rancheros. The drinks were brought over and beautifully decorated, and it wasn’t long before our food arrived. The Eggs Royale was served with hot smoked salmon and was delicious. The Huevos Rancheros was something we hadn’t seen before, sliced potato and spicy Chorizo in a rich tomato sauce, baked with two eggs on top. It was a mouth-watering as it sounds. There was a small selection of cake on the service counter, and despite both of us having hearty breakfasts, we couldn’t resist a slice. So we tried the raspberry topped brownie and the iced Bakewell. The brownie was delicious, and the Bakewell was so good it didn’t last very long at all! All this, along with extremely friendly service and a superb venue made for a very pleasant morning. The cows can be seen from the restaurant and if you’re lucky and the farm manager is there, they will show you round. Unfortunately they were out the day of our visit, but that just means we’ll have to come back again!

We popped into The Parlour in Fakenham on an impromptu visit, and we’re so glad we did. Hands down, the best milkshake I’ve ever had! The fact that the very cow responsible was sitting outside just added to the flavour! The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the building itself has so much character. The staff were lovely and attentive, making the visit even more special. Add a gorgeous day weather wise, comforting soup, and Binham Priory next door it was an all-around experience. A huge thank you to the team for the excellent service and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back!

I'm loathe to review the parlour, I want to keep it to myself! Such a lovely location for brunch on this occasion. Fresh, local produce, friendly staff and a wander round the priory afterwards. Add it to your list if your in North Norfolk

We came once for a nearly too late lunch and once for breakfast. Both times were a very good experience. The staff were very pleasant both times. We shared a prawn baguette which came with a really fresh salad and coleslaw and then shared a divine piece of coconut and mango cake. Breakfast was eggs royal, with salmon, and a full english breakfast. Both were well cooked and generous portions. The tearooms are set next to the Abbey and the barn housing the tea room is spectacular.
